Young Freddy experiences a horrifying dream in which he is pursued by a wicked creature known as the Soul Catcher, wielding a menacing scythe. The events unfold within a spooky castle teeming with lethal traps and a variety of perilous foes. As he dashes through the castle’s hallways in an attempt to evade his pursuer, Freddy must also leap over various ground-level hazards like spikes, whirling blades, or bottomless chasms, as well as slide beneath or fire at oncoming adversaries. There are a total of five stages that you must endure, but beware that within each level, in addition to confronting the usual enemies, you’ll need to dodge the Soul Catcher’s scythe strikes from behind; so when he shows up, keep vigilant. When he draws back the scythe in preparation for an assault, press the jump button to evade the deadly blade. Additionally, while fleeing, aim to gather as much gold as you can, since collecting 100 coins will grant you an additional life.
